NEAR Intents halts services after $3.8M exploit, promises full compensation

A bug in how NEAR’s Omni deposit and withdrawal infrastructure interacted with the NEAR Intents contract was exploited for about $3.8 million. The team says users will be fully compensated.
The vulnerable contract has been patched; a post-mortem is promised.
Deposits and withdrawals across 11 networks were paused for about 12 hours.
Investigator ZachXBT reported the funds moved to KuCoin and were bridged to bitcoin.
