Lloyds Banking Group and Visa settled $750,000 of live payment obligations between Jersey and the U.S. using USDC, with UK-regulated exchange Archax taking part.

Lloyds ran its side on a Canton Network node; Visa used a public blockchain.

“This has allowed us to move beyond theory,” said Peter Left, Lloyds’ head of digital assets.

Total stablecoin supply sits a little above $300 billion, led by USDT and USDC.
